Descartes Systems Group, a Canadian logistics software provider, acquires Aerospace Software Developments (ASD) for approximately $83 million. ASD, based in Dublin, offers customs declaration software and asset tracking systems for airlines, enhancing Descartes' customs brokerage services and global footprint. Descartes CEO Ed Ryan considers the acquisition complementary to its current product offerings.
