Democratic Progressive Azad Party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad criticized the delimitation process in Jammu and Kashmir, stating it was done without application of mind. Azad argued the delimitation commission should have recommended increasing the number of Lok Sabha seats in the Jammu region to three without altering seats in the Kashmir valley. He claimed that making Anantnag-Rajouri a single constituency has widened differences within the region.
