Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visits Siachen Glacier, world's highest battlefield, to interact with Indian armed forces personnel. The visit comes after India marked 40 years of its presence in Siachen. Singh reviewed the security situation and interacted with deployed soldiers. The Indian Army, through its 'Operation Meghdoot,' established full control over the Siachen Glacier in April 1984 and has strengthened its presence in the region over the years.
