Colorado Rockies' walk-off home run nullified by fan interference in 9th inning, game continued in extras.
The Colorado Rockies won their Sunday doubleheader opener against the Seattle Mariners, 2-1, but a fan interference call took away a potential walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth. Rockies catcher Jacob Stallings hit a deep ball to left field, which appeared to be a game-winning home run, but a fan reached out to attempt a catch, preventing a play from being made. The umpires ruled Stallings' hit a double after the fan interference, sending the game to extra innings.
