1st BSEC Tourism Education meeting held in Baku discusses cooperation, challenges, and curriculum adaptation to modern needs.

Tourism sector in Azerbaijan, particularly in Baku, is rapidly developing, noted Secretary General of the BSEC Lazăr Comănescu. He stated that tourists coming to Azerbaijan leave satisfied, and the country's tourism sector is continuously improving, offering a variety of natural, urban, and historical attractions. The first meeting of tourism educational institutions of member states of the BSEC took place in Baku to discuss cooperation, perspectives, and challenges in tourism education. The meeting also addressed the importance of adapting Azerbaijan's tourism curricula to modern needs, ensuring they align with the demands of the digitalization and innovation era.
