Africa's largest drugmaker, Aspen Pharmacare, plans to ease the global obesity medicine supply crunch by offering "fill and finish" services, packaging drugs like Eli Lilly's Mounjaro. CEO Stephen Saad says Aspen has the capacity to produce both diabetes drugs and higher-dose obesity meds at its main South Africa facility, already partnering with other pharma firms for niche products in emerging markets.
