8-year UK Biobank study finds physical activity between 6pm and midnight offers maximum health benefits for obese individuals, with 30,000 participants showing a lower risk of premature death and cardiovascular disease when doing most of their moderate to vigorous activity in evenings. Short bouts of exercise, even 3 minutes, were found to be more important than total daily activity.
