Wollongong Bulldogs and Figtree Kangaroos played to a 6.8 44-44 draw in the AFL South Coast competition at Keira Oval, with neither team giving an inch. The dominant teams in recent seasons, Figtree have won the past three premierships while the Bulldogs finished runners-up in the first two. Figtree's player-coach, Brandon Lagana, said he didn't expect the game to end in a draw, but praised both teams' performances.
