UltraTech Cement plans to invest ₹800 crore to expand capacity in Maharashtra, acquiring a 1.1 mt grinding unit in Parli and expanding Dhule unit capacity by 1.
UltraTech Cement, part of Aditya Birla Group, plans to invest ₹800 crore to expand its presence in Maharashtra. It will acquire a 1.1 million tonne grinding unit in Parli from India Cements for ₹315 crore and expand capacity by 1.2 million tonnes at the unit. Additionally, it will add 1.8 million tonnes capacity at its Dhule unit, taking its total capacity to 3.6 million tonnes. The expansions, funded through internal accruals, are expected to be completed by FY'26.
