South African comedian and DJ Peter "Mashata" Mabuse was shot and killed in Soshanguve after a performance.
Popular South African comedian and DJ Peter "Mashata" Mabuse was shot dead in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria, after a performance on Sunday morning. Mabuse, also known as the "noisemaker," was travelling with a friend when gunmen attacked their vehicle. Both Mabuse and his friend were shot and wounded, and Mabuse later died in hospital. Tshwane police have opened murder and attempted murder dockets in relation to the incident.
