1 person hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a house fire in Lynchburg on Saturday. The Lynchburg Fire Dept. received a call for a house fire at 1300 Bedford Ave. around 7:15 p.m. Firefighters found the back of the house on fire and contained the fire within a few minutes. The fire reportedly began on the exterior of the home on the ground level, and the cause is under investigation.
