The wall's collapse trapped four individuals and two children beneath its debris. Despite the swift response of a local police team, one child and three others succumbed to their injuries before they could be rescued. The deceased were identified as Tanya (11), Devi Dayal (70), Manoj Gaba (54), and Krishna Kumar (52). One injured person, Deepa Pradhan, is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the causes of the incident, with postmortems planned to ascertain the exact cause of death.
