2008 murder convicts' bail suspension challenged by victim's mother in Supreme Court.
Soumya Vishwanathan's mother, Madhavi Vishwanathan, has challenged the Supreme Court against the granting of bail to four men convicted of her daughter's 2008 murder. The Delhi High Court suspended the life sentences of Ravi Kapoor, Amit Shukla, Baljeet Singh Malik, and Ajay Kumar, granting them bail until their appeals are heard. Madhavi Vishwanathan argues that the bails granted to the convicts are a mockery of justice, and her plea will be heard by the Supreme Court.
