A mini-robotic camera pill (PillBot) by Endiatx was demonstrated at TED Conference in Vancouver, replacing invasive medical procedures like endoscopy.

A new mini-robotic camera, about the size of a multivitamin pill, was demonstrated at TED Conference in Vancouver. Developed by Endiatx, the PillBot is a remote-controlled device that can replace invasive medical procedures like endoscopy. The PillBot, which acts like a miniature submarine, is swallowed by the patient with water, piloted by a wireless remote, and then naturally flushes out of the body after the exam.
