4 men kayaking in Hanover's Saugeen River were rescued after their kayaks overturned in fast-flowing water. The group, aged 20s and 30s, from Milton and Waterdown, had planned a multi-day kayaking trip. Two men were rescued from the shore, and two others were retrieved downstream by firefighters. Rescuers found the overturned pair showing early signs of hypothermia. The four men were taken to the hospital for treatment.
