Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, currently in jail, sent a message through his wife Kalpana at an opposition rally in Ranchi, accusing the BJP of attempting to topple governments in opposition-ruled states and emphasizing that democracy must not falter. The rally, part of the opposition bloc INDIA's 'Ulgulan Nyay' event, was attended by leaders from 28 parties. Soren was arrested by the ED on January 31 over a money laundering case related to an alleged land fraud.
