Congress promises 30 lakh government jobs, Right to Apprenticeship, and fast track courts for job exam leak cases.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said employment is the biggest poll issue for the youth, with the party aiming to bring about an "employment revolution" if it comes to power. The Congress plans to provide 30 lakh government job posts and guarantee first jobs with an honorarium of Rs 1 lakh for degree/diploma holders through Right to Apprenticeship. They also pledge to set up fast track courts for job exam leak cases and provide financial compensation to victims.
