Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, currently in jail, stated through his wife that the BJP is attempting to topple governments in opposition-ruled states, but democracy must not fail. He made this statement at a rally in Ranchi, where opposition bloc INDIA's 'Ulgulan Nyay' event took place, attended by leaders of 28 parties. Soren's wife, Kalpana, read out the message on his behalf.
