China delivers water and allocates funds to address drought in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces.

China's Ministry of Water Resources is working to secure water supply in drought-hit regions of southwestern Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. Since spring, droughts have impacted farmland areas, with Yunnan experiencing 42.3% less precipitation than usual. To address this, China has delivered 160 million cubic meters of water and allocated 174 million yuan for drought relief and water supply.
