2 years after a near-fatal stabbing, author Salman Rushdie feels "about 25" and is both changed and unchanged, according to an AP interview. Despite difficulties in writing fiction since the attack, Rushdie says he is happiest when working on a book. His mother noticed a difference in him after his visit to Lebanon, saying he became more religion-oriented and critical of her for not teaching him about religion.
