57-year-old Marion County firefighter-paramedic, Murrel Dempsey Liverman Jr., has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office investigation began after an anonymous tip alleging abuse. The suspect applied for a reserve position with the Sheriff's Office, during which he was taken into custody and is currently held on a $250,000 bond.
