23-year-old Charles Morrice of Wantage was jailed for 3 years after admitting to assaulting a pregnant woman and exhibiting coercive and controlling behaviour. The assault occurred on Dec 17, when Morrice, in a fit of anger, threw a plate at the woman and later attacked her, causing bruising and a headache. Morrice's assault continued after a third party left the scene.
