Bauchi police arrested 34-year-old final-year ABU student Usman Adamu for allegedly harassing and defaming a DPO, CSP Danladi Mohammed, on Facebook. Adamu, from Kyata village, was accused of posting defamatory, abusive remarks against the DPO on his Facebook page. The incident allegedly occurred after the DPO had intervened to save Usman's father from an angry mob. Despite an apology, the student was arrested.
