Weichai Power, a leading Chinese company, has unveiled the world's first diesel engine with a record-breaking 53.09% thermal efficiency. This landmark innovation, certified by international testing organization TÜV SÜD and the China Automotive Technology & Research Center, marks a significant milestone in the global internal combustion engine industry. The breakthrough is expected to save 31 million tons of fuel and reduce carbon emissions by 97 million tons annually.
