35 new troopers were sworn in to the Minnesota State Patrol, following completion of the 68th and 69th training academies. State Patrol Chief Christina Bogojevic welcomed the new recruits, who have diverse backgrounds, and focused on traffic safety, as fatalities in the state have increased 42% from last year. The new troopers will now complete additional training before beginning their careers.
