24th Marine dies during training exercise at Camp Lejeune, investigation ongoing.
A Marine from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, died following an incident during a training exercise in Carteret County on Thursday evening. The Marine's identity will be released after 24 hours from the time next-of-kin are notified. The II Marine Expeditionary Force is investigating the matter and has not released further information at this time.
