Tennessee introduces a night hunting season for coyotes and bobcats on private land with landowner permission from the end of deer season to the second Sunday in March, and from the first Saturday in June to the second Sunday in August. Hunters can use night vision and thermal imaging, and lights not attached to or used by mechanized vehicles on public roads. Only shotguns are allowed, and hunting with dogs is prohibited.
