Director Stephan Elliott confirms a sequel to the 1994 film "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" is in development, with original cast members Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce, and Hugo Weaving reprising their roles. The original film, which follows a group of drag performers and a transgender woman on a journey through the Australian outback, will have a partly global setting in the sequel. Elliott will not only direct the film but also write and produce, with the script completed and deals being finalized.
