Police in Ottawa County have deemed a threat of violence against West Ottawa Schools as unfounded. A phone call was made at 9:30 AM on April 19, threatening violence at the high school. Schools in the area sheltered in place, and the Sheriff's Office is aware of similar calls made to other districts. Students were safely dismissed at noon, and the investigation is ongoing.
