2022: NNPP founder Dr. Boniface Aniebonam accuses Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of betraying trust and hijacking party structure.
New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, accused Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of betraying his trust by trying to hijack the party structure. Aniebonam, who claims to have built NNPP from 2002 to 2022, alleges that Kwankwaso and his group destroyed the party during a purported national convention in Abuja to elect new executive members. According to Aniebonam, Kwankwaso was offered the platform of the NNPP to pursue his presidential ambitions.
