Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) warns that smuggling poses a severe threat to national security and economic stability in Nigeria. The Oyo/Osun Area Command has intensified anti-smuggling activities to protect the country's borders and economy from illicit trade. In Kebbi State, the Customs Area Command has intercepted goods, including foreign rice worth over N126m, to curb smuggling and safeguard the economy.
