Interim Ireland manager John O'Shea may extend his role as FAI searches for a permanent successor to Stephen Kenny.
Republic of Ireland interim manager John O'Shea may continue in his role beyond the initial target date as the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) searches for a permanent successor to Stephen Kenny. The FAI had hoped to appoint a new manager by early April, but the recruitment process remains ongoing, with no permanent appointment in sight. Director of football Marc Canham has confirmed that the FAI is aiming for a new manager to be in place before Ireland's UEFA Nations League game against England in September.
