A massive fire broke out at BHEL stockyard in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Saturday, 150 km from the state's capital, Ranchi. The fire was reported at 1:30 pm at the BHEL Material Yard of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project. CISF Fire Team, Disaster team, nearby industries, and district administrations were mobilized to extinguish the fire. No injuries or casualties were reported. The cause of the fire and damage is being assessed.
