Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter) plans to fight an order from Australia's eSafety Commissioner to remove content related to the stabbing of a bishop in Sydney. The commissioner issued a notice of removal for content depicting "gratuitous or offensive violence with a high degree of impact or detail" following the attack on Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel. X claims the regulator does not have the authority to dictate what content users can see globally, and X will "robustly challenge" the order, pending a legal challenge.
