A fatal multi-vehicle crash on Highway 88 in Amador County, California resulted in one death and three injuries. A Chevrolet TrailBlazer crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Ford Explorer, which went down an embankment. The highway was temporarily closed but has since reopened. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Amador.
