35 projects, including those by Albemarle, Cummins, and Siemens Energy, have received $1.93bn in tax credits under the US Department of Energy, as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. These projects, across 20 states, focus on enhancing electrical grids, processing critical minerals, and manufacturing EV components. The credits, worth up to 30% of investment costs, are aimed at accelerating clean energy manufacturing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
