CBS has renewed its freshman drama 'Elsbeth' for a second season, starring Carrie Preston as title character Elsbeth Tascioni, who moves from Chicago to New York for a new investigative role. The show, averaging 11 million viewers per episode in Live+35 multiplatform viewing, stars Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson. Additionally, the American Film Institute will celebrate Nicole Kidman's career on April 27, with a tribute special airing on TNT on June 17, featuring tributes by her Big Little Lies co-stars Reese Witherspoon, Morgan Freeman, and Naomi Watts, among others. Kidman becomes the first Australian to receive this award.
