Kansas City Royals second baseman Michael Massey returns from injury, reinstated from 10-day IL ahead of Royals vs. Orioles series. Massey was sidelined with a low back strain sustained in spring training. In eight rehab games, he had 13 hits in 34 at-bats, slugging 2 home runs and driving in 10 runs. Infielder Nick Loftin was optioned to Triple-A Omaha to make room for Massey's return.
