46-year-old Police Scotland officer Alan Sneddon has been sentenced to a Community Payback Order, including 140 hours of unpaid work and an 18-month supervision order, after stealing devices from a house he was attending after a report of a death. Sneddon, who was arrested, charged, and suspended, pled guilty earlier this year. The Professional Standards Department will progress gross misconduct proceedings.
