68-year-old North Carolina man seriously injured in Deadwood vehicle-pedestrian accident; 6:23 p.m. on April 17, a man was hit by a car while crossing Pioneer Way in a crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle was charged with failure to yield right of way to a pedestrian. The victim was critically injured and airlifted to Rapid City Monument Health. Alcohol and speed were not considered factors in the accident.
