A dump truck driven by Michael Minick, 56, was struck by a train near Ushers Road in Halfmoon, injuring the driver who sustained hip and head injuries. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday. Minick failed to yield the right of way and was hit by a Berkshire & Eastern train operated by Canadian Pacific Kansas City. The train crew was not injured.
