75-year-old Melegalenu'u Ah Sam, long-time Māngere College Principal and Polyfest Sāmoan stage coordinator, passed away.
75-year-old Melegalenu'u Ah Sam, acting Principal of Māngere College and lead coordinator of the Polyfest Sāmoan stage for over 30 years, has passed away. Known for mentoring thousands of youth and students, Ah Sam was a dear friend of the university and frequently visited Fale Pasifika and Waipapa Marae for community engagements. Pro Vice-Chancellor (Pacific) Professor Jemaima Tiatia-Siau paid tribute to the 'Q' for her dedication to the Pacific community.
