37-year-old Jonathan Hogg, a father of five, died from severe injuries caused by a XL Bully dog named Poseidon while looking after his friend's pets in Greater Manchester. The attack lasted around 10-15 minutes and the doctor treating Hogg described the injuries as the "worst trauma case" they had seen. No further action was taken against the dog's owner, and the dog was subsequently destroyed.
