19-year-old man arrested for allegedly raping 9-year-old girl in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. The suspect, Jamiu Akande, was reported to the gender unit of the NSCDC by Alhaja Yusuf Mariam Joke, Director of Child Ministry of Women Affairs. Akande allegedly lured the victim to an uncompleted building on December 1, 2023 and again on April 16, 2024, where he sexually assaulted her.
