80-year-old Dickey Betts, co-founder of the influential Southern rock band the Allman Brothers Band, has passed away. Betts, a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, wrote hits such as "Ramblin' Man" and had been battling cancer for over a year. The Allman Brothers Band, formed in 1969, was known for their pioneering jam band style and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
