WVU Medicine has approved a $400 million investment in West Virginia's healthcare infrastructure, which includes new facilities in Morgantown, Princeton, Bluefield, Fairmont, and Elkins. The largest investment is a $233.5 million project for a new WVU Eye Institute in Morgantown, while the Elkins Corridor project will receive $37.3 million for a 38,000-square-foot multi-specialty ambulatory facility.
