The first T20 International between Pakistan and New Zealand in Rawalpindi was abandoned due to rain, after just two deliveries were bowled. The match was delayed by over two hours before officials decided to play a five-over game; however, the rain returned, forcing the players to leave the field. The second match of the five-T20 series is scheduled for Rawalpindi on Sunday morning (NZ time).
