Maxeon Solar Technologies sues REC Solar for patent infringement of TOPCon solar cell technology.

Maxeon Solar Technologies has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against REC Solar Holdings AS, alleging infringement of Maxeon patents relating to TOPCon solar cell technology. This is Maxeon's second US patent infringement lawsuit in less than a month. Maxeon's patent portfolio includes over 1,650 granted patents and more than 330 pending applications protecting innovations in IBC, Shingled Hypercell, and TOPCon technologies.
