Japanese AI tool forecasts employee turnover; helps managers provide targeted support to staff to reduce quitting. Developed by Tokyo City University professor Naruhiko Shiratori, the AI tool crunches employee data, including attendance record and age, to create turnover models for each firm, predicting which new hires may quit in percentage points. The tool is currently being tested with several companies.
