Iran has breached the 2015 nuclear deal.

Iran has advanced its nuclear program since the 2015 nuclear deal with major powers weakened, reducing the time needed to develop a nuclear weapon if it chose to, though Iran denies any such intentions. The country has breached all key restrictions of the deal, increasing its enriched uranium stockpile to 5.5 tonnes, enough to create two nuclear weapons if further enriched. Iran is currently enriching uranium up to 60% purity and is not fully cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency, making it difficult to fully monitor its nuclear activities. Estimates on the time it would take for Iran to develop a weaponized nuclear weapon range from months to a year.
